Mother's Day

When I lived in Nebraska, I would spend Mother's Day planting flowers in honor of my mother. Since moving to Bend, planting flowers don't happen until after Memorial Day and the last few years, I've been at a loss. Mostly we do something for my MIL (lunch around 2 p.m.) or go for a walk (which Charlie and I are heading out to do).

Even though I'm 33 days away from having this kid, my husband made me breakfast and then "went to work." (I think he went to get me something though I said not to) I guess I'm not at a loss anymore now that there is a little one on the way. He's definitely restricting my breathing and keeping me up at night but I'm 100% sure he's all worth it.

Now to get out and enjoy the day with my little doggy.
