I went to a masquerade party last night and had this mask put on by Dolce Vita. It took two hours to put it on and was quite itchy but looked awesome. I esp. love the orange eyelashes. You outta bet it was a pain to get off esp. since I was feeling pretty yucky to start with.

I can't wait to hand out candy at my house. Our neighborhood is full of kids and it's pretty exciting to be able to finally do that in Bend.

Wayne Coyne does the weather

I haven't been much fun lately. Don't get me wrong, my life is awesome right now but I just don't have much to write about or I can write about at this time. I did stumble across something Flaming Lips fans will definitely enjoy -- Wayne Coyne doing the weather on an Oklahoma City Fox News station. To see him doing the weather, you'll need to go to the end -- it's hilarious.

Those lucky enough to live in Okie City got to witness the Flaming Lips alley dedication today and can take part in the Flaming Lips Halloween Parade on Saturday. Maybe we should start a Halloween parade in Bend? I know my killer mask for Lance's party would be a major hit.

Remind me to add this and this to my holiday wish list.

Home from the "Ha"

After a LONG flight (which included me missing my flight to Omaha and getting a hotel), I made it to Omaha on last Monday morning.

Omaha is going through so many changes. The traffic is horrible. There is more shopping than ever and places I used to go to have closed down. The highlight was seeing my niece and nephews and how big they are getting. It's always sad no knowing when you will see them next. I got to spend quality time with my grandma. I took her shopping and to lunch. I went to my friend's wedding and it was beautiful. Mostly, I relaxed.

All in all, it was a good trip. Now I need a vacation from my vacation. Off to rest.

I would like to know

When did they put a mini median in on Newport Ave? After leaving the BBC with my husband and guests, I turned left onto Newport only to discover that there is a mini median. Good thing there were no cars around. I think I gave everyone in the car a heart attack.
